Yes, you should be able to get to the BIOS. Sometimes (depends on the monitor) the monitor doesn't sync quick enough for the "push X for BIOS" to be visible. You just need to look in your motherboard manual and as SOON as the LED on the keyboard flashes start repeatedly punching what ever key is supposed to get into the BIOS. I also recommend running MEMTEST for a few hours before you start your OS install. It is self booting and will check out major functionality in your motherboard.

no not yet but shouldn't i be able to access the bios or anything first to test to see if everything is working correctly? i was gonna install it later on

ok i tried this and now it says windows installation media. remove the installation media and restart your computer

well i was able to access the bios but now it's all glitchy and not everything is pulling up on screen besides settings, what should i do? i hit something and now its pulled up a blue screen with the words this bin fill is incorrect and now i cant do anything
