[SOLVED] Boot Loop and No Display with MSI 3080 ?

HI all just have a few issues with a new install of a 3080. It does not want to output any display and also seems to send the PC into a Boot Loop until the PC is System Restored, Tried all the standard fixes so thought I would try my luck here. Things I have already checked/tried. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Replacing the 3080 with the older 1080 removes the problems. Currently cant do anything with the 3080 installed. It seems to be getting power as well and the fans are spinning up/ The PC can see the GPU in device manager. Tried multiple driver wipes no change.

Correctly Seated
Power Cables checked and replaced
Different Slot PCI
Fresh Install of drivers with the help of DDU
Fresh wipe of the OS

Hey there,

What exact model PSU are you using? Not all are made equal, and it's possible the PSU is the problem.

Also, what bios are you running? If it's not up to date, then that could also be the cause.

For whatever reason, after a tear down and rebuild, the system seems to be operating thanks for the help anyway Roland. I think you were right with the BIOS needing an update.
