boot problem with ssd

Hi. I recently reintalled windows 7 64bit on my ssd drive and before this all was running well. Now when i boot the pc it says
" Boot and select proper boot device
Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key "
The ssd is set as 1st boot device and my hdd as second in the bios and when I exit the bios windows starts and runs normally untill I switch the pc off, then it comes back with the same message
msi z97 g45 board
kingston 120gb hyperx ssd

Any ideas?

I am going to wild guess you left the HD on sata0 and just installed the SSD on sata1. Always connect the default boot device on sata0 is standard.

ssd is on sata 1
hd on sata 2
cd on sata 3
All on the same ports as they have been for the last year with no problems. I have just swapped the sata cable and its still the same. If I enter the bios and click exit and save changes (withouy changing anything) it boot to windows every time. :/
