Just put together a computer and it will not boot. The board lights up but nothing happens after that. No Error codes, no beeps, and the lights on the board that indicate when the components start up don't light up. I've checked all of the connections, taken the battery out, tried starting it with no memory installed and I still get nothing. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Parts:
Board: DP67BG
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Video: Geforce GTX 650
Power: Ultra 600
Processor: Intel i5 3570K (3rd Gen.)

Could be a bad PSU, Ultra units aren't good. Could be a bad stick of RAM or a bad slot. Take each stick and try it one at a time in each of the slots. Next your looking at a bad main board or CPU. It's pretty rare to get a bad CPU so you'd want to try a new board first.

That is an older board meant for Sandy Bridge, and it's a P series chipset. Are you 100% certain that the board is running the latest bios to support 3rd gen CPUs? It will absolutely not be compatible without the proper bios update. It depends on where you got it from and how long it was sitting in their inventory without a bios update.

If you aren't sure about the bios, try to test that motherboard with a Sandy Bridge CPU-- find a computer store nearby, a local shop perhaps?

Here's the CPU and bios compatibility list for that board. http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?BoardName=DP67BG&Lang=en-US
