Question boot promblem

some times When trying to boot my PC The mobo gives me 1 short continuous beeps and the screen never turns on , The fans are spinning, and the light on the motherboard is on , then i reset my pc the problem will fix and boot normaly .
how can i fix this?
my motherboard name : abit AN52s
cpu : amd Athlon(tm) 64 x2 Dual core processor 5000+ 2.60ghz
graphic : nvidia geforce gts 250

BIOS/CMOS battery, you might want to change it.
Check capacitors on the MB and in PSU, on their top there's an X etched into it, it fas to be flat, any bulging may indicate it's no good any more. A lot of that happens on older MBs.
