[SOLVED] Bose Companion 5 crackling when connected to Dell WD15 Dock Station

My friend just gave me a Bose Companion 5 sound system. It's connected to my Dell WD15 Docking Station via USB cable came with the speaker. For some reason, the sound is distorted and crackling. I have tried to use different port, but didn't seem to work. Anyone idea would be greatly appreciated, cheer.

First check the speakers with another system to see if issue is the speakers or the computer.
