[SOLVED] Both control keys (Ctrl) are not working (please read entire post)

I tried all the possible solutions to get rid of this problem but failed.

1.updated the keyboard driver and restart the computer.
2.updated the keyboard and unistalled it and restart the computer.
3.troubleshoot the hardware and device as well as the keyboard several times and no problem found.
4.unplugged the keyboard and use another usb port but the problem is same.
5. try different windows but nothing happened.

both control keys working fine in on-screen keyboard though...

My keyboard is as good as new but suddenly the problem occured.

Also test on another system. Unless you have a keyboard where you can control the keys through software is could simply be the keys went bad.

Yes, I tested and both the control keys didnt work either in safe mode...

To ascertain if it's a keyboard fault, try another keyboard (borrow one if you don't have a spare one).
