Bought a samsung 27 inch monitor for gaming...

Hi, I recently put together a pretty sick gaming PC. Currently using the GeForce GTX 680.

I wanted a 27 inch monitor but didn't want to pay $700+ for one, so I got the Samsung S27B350H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001551)

Which was $350, I also got an Asus VE248H Black 24" as a side monitor.

The colors on the Samsung 27" are really washed out, the whites look like light grays and I have to constantly adjust ingame graphic settings to get the colors right. I've tried messing around with the monitors settings but can't seem to find a way to fix how washed out all the colors are.

The colors on the Asus 24" are WAY better, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the colors on the Samsung? Or am I just better off getting two Asus 24" since my price range is the 300-400 area.

S27B350H ? i saw a lot of website has combo deal x2 S27B350H for 430$ 😀. Should get x2 of S27B350H instead.

You should return it and get a $350 2560x1440 IPS monitor from ebay. Much better, plus you have the hardware to power it

there been a firmware update.
also under the user guild on page 3-18 try putting all of the option settings into game mode for the monitor. there also a setting for pc for this monitor too. i bet right now it set more for home dvd or cable then set up for a pc monitor.

The reds are still orange, and oranges are yellows. Also set the monitor for gaming mode
