So i bought new psu, installed and back 3,5mm jack became really muffled and audio outputs through gfx started "pulsating", by this i mean its like half a second normal volume then half a second really low so it ends up breaking on and off constantly. I tried several software and driver routes, ended up updating every driver and it didnt help, at the end i installed my old psu back and sound is normal now. Obviously this points to the new psu but anybody got idea how it could be the reason for this and are problems like this unheard of or common?

Problem is that if i rma it and it ends up working they hit me with 70 euro bill and if i just use the 14 day return policy i have to pay postage and those are around 50euros too, any ideas how i could be more sure that the reason for this is the fault of psu itself not my setup?

I have:
Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3
Intel i7 4790k
RTX 2060
and old psu was corsairs vs650

As a last resort, you could try a USB audio DAC and use that instead of the green 3.5mm audio jack on the mobo.
