Hello toms hardware. Last night was a late night for me and I was buying parts for a basic gaming rig for my friends birthday. Everything went smoothly except for one thing. I bought the wrong power supply. The wattage was correct but its not bronze certified which concerns me a bit. Here is the one I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438038&cm_re=400w_power_supply-_-17-438-038-_-Product

Here are the specs of the system i'm building for him:
XFX 7850 1gb
Fx 4100
Wb 320gb hard drive
4gb of rip jaws ram.

It's a pretty decent budget build, my intention is to get him into pc gaming and stop being a console peasant. So the question remains, should i return the PSU or keep it? I've never bought a Psu like this before so i'm a bit sketched out.

Thanks a lot :]

i dont think bronze or gold certificate are that important unless you are using the psu for sli mine is a thermaltake 700w and it isnt anything certified also thermaltake isnt that good supposedly and i am still good with that one if it works for you dont return it depends on ya to be honest
