Question Bought this 2k monitor, the HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 difference for my setup.

Getting a desk back together and using a PC and an Xbox Series S for gaming has been pretty fun but I have a question that I can't figure out for some reason.

As it states it has 3x HDMI but only one is 2.0, the other are 1.4. To get the 144hz correctly on my PC can I still connect the PC up to a 1.4 so my xbox gets the 2.0 for 120hz?

I know its a simple question but I can seem to find a good answer. Thanks all. Also welcome back to the forums, ME! It's been a while!

Not Hdmi 1.4, it doesn't support variable refresh rate either. Use Hdmi 2.0 for Xbox and Displayport for PC. Your graphics card has Displayport?

Unfortunately no, its a laptop so just HDMI.

I've never really understood 4:2:0, 4:4:4, etc.
