Just built a new pc with 2x 2TB m.2 drives and one of them is not detecting.
When installing windows for the first time it was showing correctly 2 drives with 2TB so I chose to install windows on disk 0 but after installation finished the other drive (the one without windows on it) became 2GB.
What I tried so far:
-cleaning it with diskpart
-swapping m.2 slots around (didn't work still one of them shows as 2gb)
-reinstalling windows

Picture is where disks are plugged in (5.0 slot and 4.0 slot)

it's a bad drive.
Update I have managed to fix my issue.
First I went in to Asrock's bios > Tool > Nvme sanitization tool > select the drive and chose "Clear" option
This takes a while, had to clear both of them since it's the same size and manufacturer making it impossible to tell them apart.
Pic drives returned to original state.

Installed windows for the third time and this time with only one drive plugged in.
After that all I had to do was assign the letter to the drive in Disk Management and it just works.

Moral of the story:
when installing Windows, have only ONE drive physically connected.
