Hello,

Im planning to buy a complete pc this month. The big thing is i dont wanna spend 650 euro on a Aorus 2070 Xtreme becouse i wanted a full AMD build.

So my plan was to buy the Aorus RX 580 8gb for 212 euro ( 2 games free) and wait till the new AMD GPU come out and then upgrade.
Here is my build so far:

Case: Coolermaster masterbox MB530P RGB 107 euro
Motherboard
: Gigabyte Aorus Ultra gaming AM4 133 euro
CPU
: Amd ryzen 2700x 335 euro
Memory
: Gskill trident Z RGB 32 GB 3000Mhz DDR4 259 euro
PSU:
Gigabyte G750H Semi modulair 76 euro
SSD:
Crucial 480 GB 60 euro
HDD: Seagate barracude 2TB 7200 RPM 59 euro
Cooling:
COolermaster masterliquid ML240RGB 96 euro

Iam going to play on a 27 inch AOC AGON144HZ WQHD monitor.
Is the Rx 580 good for now? Becouse its a price difference from 450 euro.

Solution
Yeah rx-580 is pretty good for 1080p, I don't know about 144hz, 1440p. Should be able to play games at decent frame rates at that resolution, but don't expect it to get close to the refresh rate of the screen. Probably expect frame rates in 60-80 FPS, but I don't know think many games will run at 100+ fps at 1440p. Of course this all depends on the games you are planning on playing and the settings you decide to use on each game.
