Hello,

Have recently just purchased a brand new gaming pc. For the first day, the pc was running fine with no issue.

A day later and it is pretty much unusable. It started with a brief crash while playing world of warcraft. A few hours later, I was getting repeated black screens and loss of feed to monitor for a few seconds with feed and picture then resuming. A little while after, this persisted but after the loss of picture, the PC would then start to reboot itself. After this, it would just begin outright crashing. Upon further reboots, the display resolution would be zoomed in at times, and at other times, green lines and dots all over the screen, as well as slower performance.

Specs are:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570S UD: ATX
RAM: 32GB Corsair
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 12G
SSD: 512GB
HDD: 2TB
PSU: 550W Corsair
Windows 11

Completely brand new as purchased from PC Specialist.

As far as I am aware, all drivers are up to date , including GPU. All windows updates - done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Bummer! It hurts to read all that. You just bought this, last thing you want is issues. From what I can determine this will be narrowed to either a hardware or cabling issue. I am leaning more towards a hardware issue. It's possible there is simply a lose connection between motherboard and GPU. But then you mentioned the PC rebooting itself
- First; inspect the actual hardware (GPU connection to Motherboard, maybe reseat this)

When you mention your PC actually crashing, that will raise concerns. That can be caused by a plethora of issues. You mention dots all over the screen / a zoomed in aspect. This makes me think your new PC is suffering from improper hardware installation. When a PC boots in Safety Mode it will default to APU instead of GPU, causing a zoomed-in appearance.

There's lots of variables here. It's beyond my scope. I'm commenting cause I know how'd I feel if I bought a PC and had these issues. My recommendation is to take your PC to a Geek Squad for further evaluation. Tbh more information is required to continue. Best of luck friend.
