EDIT: I reset the CMOS and now everything is in working order!
Hey all,
I am doing a brand new build, but the GPU is not giving me a display. I bought a used XFX RX 580 off of eBay, and it unfortunately showed up dead. I got a refund and bought the same one brand new off Amazon.
I'm getting a solid white light in the VGA section of my MSI B550 A-PRO motherboard. According to the manual, that confirms a GPU/PCIe issue.
Here are the things I've tried:
- Reseated the GPU and made sure the PCIe cable was properly secured (twice)
- Tried the second PCIe slot
- Different monitors
- Different cables
- My old GPU still works in this new build
There is a blue light on the card itself, and both fans are spinning, so I know it's getting power.
Any ideas?
