Question Brand new M.2 NVMe SSD not appearing anywhere ?

Hello all thank you for coming to my thread,

My current build is as follows:

The ADATA and Seagate are both from my previous PC which was running Windows 10, I had to reinstall Windows as I was having Drivers issues for the sudden changes in parts and now am at Windows 11. I can now run all my games and browse with no crashing or freezing. Adequate temps for what I am playing. I even stress tested it and things were passing.

The WD_Black NVMe SSD is not appearing anywhere on my PC and this is a brand new SSD after I returned the last one thinking it could've gotten fried or corrupted in my previous attempts at setting up the new PC.

I have looked in BIOS and Disk Management many times after removing and returning the component to the PC. Refreshed and Waited, etc. I have scoured the internet for some answers but haven't found anything yet.

I was hoping to see if anyone had recommendations or thoughts on this matter as I am open to questions and am looking for some guidance.

Thank you!!

B650 have no enough slot to entirely support for all m2 slots. so some slots maybe share with sata3 slots
try unplug your sata3 drive then restart you PC to see if you can find your new driver

there is no limitation, all ports should work at the same time in this motherboard

update the BIOS of the motherboard
have a look in BIOS if the BIOS can see the WD m.2 drive

install all drivers (amd chipset)

try the wd in the other m.2 slot and check BIOS again, if it´s there then
if yes, try the other SSD in the other M.2 slot
if it´s not working, might be a cpu socket pin failure (bent pin in the cpu socket of the motherboard) or cpu is faulty

He is a MSI BM, MSI's MB has got M.2 bug for a long time since B150. Anyway, MSI have a long time not on my purchasing list

Couldn´t verify, do you have any source for your statement?
B150 and others like B250, B360, B450 (intel and AMD chipsets) have limitations, but this is a B650.
(MSI PRO B650-P WIFI)
All board manufacturers had limitations for M.2 PCIe or SATA because the lanes for SATA and PCIe were limited, and therefore some SATA ports or PCIe ports were not usable, in some combinations.
Some older boards had extra chips for this problem and could use all ports nonetheless, but not all. Maybe MSI didn´t do that at all in there models, but other manufacturers like ASUS and ASrock had this limitations on their boards as well. Maybe not all, but most.

This concrete board model is not limited and all ports are usable at the same time in theory. (source: MSI homepage and manual)
