Brand new printer only prints blank pages, please help

I just set this Epson L220 printer up. I put in the ink, and I downloaded the drivers. For some reason when I print, the printer sounds like it's printing, but it pops out a blank page. I tried head cleaning, setting the printer as default, redownloading driver

I really need some help, thanks in advance!

but you did remove all the bits from the cartridges you are meant to?

and when you put them in you did press down hard enough to hear them click?

I am not completely sure when i say this, but yes. The ink cartridges seem to be connected by four tubes which came already connected. And i dont see anything to remove. Thanks for the response! Please let me know if i'm wrong

usually you have to peel of a bit of yellow tape and take out a little piece of plastic

I'm not very familiar with printer terms. What i can say is that the ink housing thing is external, and is connected through 4 tubes.

yes sounds like an ink tank printer

did you lift the lid and scanner and remove any of the packaging materials?

usually a bit under the print head and others bits--kind of paper/foam stuff

So there are 4 separate tanks inside the big tank for 4 different colours. There is this white tape on each one of them. It was quite illogically difficult to remove, so i thought i was not supposed to. Should i? As of now I am trying to remove it, but to no avail

Did you read the manual? Follow through it again. Sounds like the tank is not connected.
