brightness settings?

Since installin a new card and updatin to the latest nvidia drivers,
morrowind seems a tad dark. Ive adjusted the gamma settings in game
but unfortunately doesnt make things much clearer. Anyway to adjust
the *brightness settings*? I've looked in the morrowind ini file and
some of the registry settings without any luck.

Have you checked to see if the card has separate gamma setting settings
for games? They would be in the advanced settings for the desktop if
using Windows.
