I posted this in the gigabyte forums, too, but I think I can hear the buzzards circling around in there at the moment. And it's not exactly motherboard specific anyway.
My friend brought his computer to me because he was having random and very sudden computer shutoffs, and upon further inspection, I found that the bracket around the cpu (the one that the CPU fan clips too) had cracked on the bottom, and both the tabs sticking out that latch to the CPU heatsink were snapped off.
I found them in the case, but really my question is...uh, is there any way to fix it? Superglue or epoxy? Or some sort of super awesome computer adhesive? any suggestions would help.
