BROTHER MFC-4800 printer with Windows 7 internet connection

Hello,
I have a Brother MFC4800 printer and a new laptop w/W7 OS. When I downloaded the driver for the printer, I lost my internet connection. Anyone know of a remedy?

Do you have a wireless or wired connection? Also, how are you connecting to your printer?
