Question Brother MFC-9335CDW printer says "WT Box End Soon" ?

Hi folks

I used to have a Brother MFC-9330CDW Printer since 2015.
I never replaced the Waste Toner Box. Yes, I did replace the drum once and now I have disposed of that printer.

Now I have got two almost new Brother MFC-9335CDW Printers from my friend which were sitting in his workshop storage for a while as he is using two industrial printers now.

The message that I am getting on one of these MFC-9335CDW printers is : "WT Box End Soon"

Can you advise what else I am missing to check ?
Is it a false positive warning or do need to replace the Waste Toner Box ?

The waste toner box is considered a consumable. When the printer says it's full then replace it. Do not try to do an end run around the message.

Two almost new Brother MFC-9335CDW Printers

Since I have 2 same models I swapped the WT box between the one with no error let us name it as A to the one that has an error message let us name it B ,,,,,,now both machines have the same errors
My interpretation to that the the WT box on machine B needs to be replaced and machine B has a problem as well (because error message didn't get cleared when we used good WT box ) ?

Hi Folks, the waste toner boxes are not very expensive. You can buy the non genuine ones quite cheap - https://www.inkhub.com.au/products/brother-wt-223cl-compatible-waste-toner-pack . It's not worth the headache in my opinion messing around with the old unit. Anyway if it does fill completely with toner powder, which it will eventually then your printer will be contaminated by excess toner powder.
