This is for my friend.
Basically everytime he boots his computer it goes to diagnosing pc and then says pc can not be repaired. It will give him on option of advanced setup or start repair, if he clicks start repair it just loads and does the critical process does bsod. He can’t Go into cmd because of a password issue or anything in that section. If he goes to the reset the pc option it just says this action can not be done. I had him boot into bios to look in there and everytime he exits the bios the same bsod happens. He has no way of getting into windows or anything. He’s just stuck in an endless loop.
I also had him boot into safe mode and the same bsod happened when he did it.
He just got his pc about 6months ago everything brand new but the gpu so I had him take it out and it did nothing .
I’m thinking it’s some sort of malware but im really out of ideas unless some of his hardware have Gone faulty

Any ideas of how to fix this or what it could be would be appreciated.

Sounds like time to reinstall the OS. He might be able to do a in-place upgrade to be able to backup his stuff first but if not then the only option will be to wipe it completely and reinstall Windows.

If you can get into the advanced settings and try torestore from a restore point it might boot back up.

I have a dell at work that bricks its self on windows updates and have to do this every once in a while. It just gets in a system repair loop and will never load windows.

Yeah but when he clicks reset it just says this action can not be done.
I’m gonna see if it will let him boot from a windows usb and hopefully that will work.
