Purchased a laptop recently from Best Buy, and re-imaged it using a fresh W10 install from MS tool application. Have had this crash happen a few times now with seemingly no precise pattern to point to a specific device/driver or application that may be the problem. When looking at the dump through BlueScreenView, it is pointing to ntoshkrnl.exe being the faulty application. Would greatly appreciate if anyone with more technical experience wouldn't mind looking into the dump file further to get a better idea of what might be causing this BSOD and hopefully how to fix this issue. Thanks!

NPFS.sys = Named Pipe File System... i won't pretend to know what it does, but its part of win 10.

normally when i see a browser crash, my 1st reaction is LAN drivers

There are newer wifi drivers to what you have installed on the Asus website for laptop (see link at bottom)
There are newer Bluetooth drivers as well
Newer touchpad drivers
Newer card reader software
Newer Audio driver

about only driver i am unsure about there is the AMD chipset driver, you may have an older one of those too.

Any idea what Dokan Project is?

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/lroV.html

File information:090119-11234-01.dmp (Sep 1 2019 - 16:03:19)
Bugcheck:KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139)
Probably caused by:Npfs.SYS (Process: firefox.exe)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 1 Hour(s), 10 Min(s), and 14 Sec(s)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/Q406DA/HelpDesk/
It appears you have the latest BIOS already installed.

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.
