My computer is about 2 years old when I built it I originally had a 9600 GT video card. After a while I started to have issues with my video card where the screen usually flickers and it gives the hated "display driver has crashed and recovered". I tried installing new drivers and such but the problem was persistent especially in games. Usually it would recover and then I would alt-tab to desktop and back into the game and I would be able to play again, but sometimes artifacts and screen tears will appear and I'll have to restart the system.
I got fed up with it and brought an HD 5770 recently. Now the problem is even worse, when I play SC 2 as soon as I get into a multiplayer game it'll give me a black screen and go to the blue screen of death. My friend told me it might be a memory leak but I've tried so many solutions that I am running out of ideas. I checked Win7 reliability monitor and saw information that says video hardware error, description below.
