Hello,

Lately I've been getting two types of BSODs - Pagefault and Index Mismatch. I have no idea what is causing this and it's usually pretty random (the times it has happened I don't recall ever doing anything that would make it happen).

I'm not sure if I am able to attach files but I will give any further details if necessary. Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

I ran the WhoCrashed program and got given these details:

Solution
I'm not talking about system restore I'm referring to system repair that's completely different. You will need to boot your computer using the windows cd to get the options in the link i provided with the instructions.
Well there is something crashing the windows kernel and it's most likely ks.sys which is also a windows driver. I suggest using the Windows repair option since that will pair your windows system files and allow you to keep your system intact. You can also try using system restore to try to go to a point before it started having problems. The link below will guide you to both options.

Hello, thank you for your reply!

I checked the System Restore but the available points do not go very far back. I tried the Automatic Repair tool as well but that didn't work either.

Is there another way I could try or am I not following the link correctly?

Ah, yes I also tried the system repair but there was an error. I don't believe I have a Windows CD but thank you for your help nevertheless. 🙂
