Now I am not sure. These are details of the stick you have but they might be sold in the 16GVKC package? Google doesn't help as if I search for 8 it brings up results for 16. Acting like they are the same, and in a way they are, only difference is amount of sticks.
The 16 GVKC sets aren't 16gb sticks, they are 2x8gb. So since I know you don't have 4gb sticks , the 8 has to mean its a single stick.. and the info below shows it is. So unless the package is marked as 16GVKC yet the individual sticks are marked as 8GVKC, your sticks weren't tested by Asus. That doesn't mean they won't work, but if they are individual sticks, they may not work together.
