I have overclocked my 2.67 GHz i5 CPU to 3.5 GHz.
It has been working great and stable for several months now.

I noticed that the power options were on "Balanced" and I decided to change them to "High Performance" and now I am getting BSOD after 10-15 minutes of gaming regularly.

My FPS seem to be way more stable for some reason on high performance, but I looked through the advanced settings and can't figure out why.

Can anyone tell me what I could do to rectify the BSOD on this setting?
Should I increase the voltage or is it something else?

High performance settings keep the cpu at max frequency at all times. Balanced allows for the CPU to take advantage of Intel Speed Step technology. Intel Speed Step Technology allows for the CPU to lower the frequency at idle/low loads.

It sounds to me like the overclock is not stable. You also need to be monitoring core temperatures when overclocking, and run stress tests to ensure stability.
