Budget Build - Mobo Question

I am in the process of working on my new budget build. It's going to be used for some gaming, and mostly using the internet and music, etc. The normal stuff teenagers do on computers. But since I'm really into computers & technology, I'm upgrading it to good stuff. Anyways, I was wondering if this budget build is good or bad?

Also, I'm an AMD fan so don't bother telling me to switch to Intel stuff, please.

What are you babbling on about? PCI-E is backwards compatible. 2.1 will work in 3.

To the OP: Drop AMD though, its old and creaky. The question is, what game(s), and what resolution?

AMD has done me well. Been with them for over a year now with graphics and processor. Yes, I know Intel is better but it's more pricier for my budget at the moment. Eventually I will be going to Intel. Also, just games like RuneScape, League of Legends, and GTA on Steam. Nothing too intense and nothing in HD really unless it's capable of doing it.

Then either get a 6850 or 6870 which will fit your system perfectly. I'd also change the mobo to an Asus M5A97 so you can upgrade to Piledriver if required in the future. Change the PSU to a Corsair TX 650 v2 too, you don't need to pay more for a HCG. Then your build is solid.

Thanks for the help. I went with the motherboard above because I am not planning on buying all of the parts at once. So if I were to buy that motherboard, I'd have no VGA or DVI port for my monitor which obviously I need. Also, I've seen bad reviews about the Piledriver so I'm sticking with the Phenom for now. Also, as far as the PSU, will it be able to support all of my fans? I have 5 case fans which 4 of the 5 have 2 molex connectors (1 male & 1 female) plus whatever else uses a molex connector in the PSU.

The TX 650 v2 has 8 molex connectors so you'll be fine there, the reviews are for Bulldozer, Piledriver is the successor. The mobo is old - 880G is obsolete - and the Asus M5A97 is far more flexible for future upgrade options.
