Trying to build back up my gaming PC, I love my laptop but I want my old desktop back. Ive read mixed things on starter processors. I built AMD in the past but I am done with the issues I encountered with stability. I havent decided on a graphics card yet as I will be getting that down the road. I also already had a hard drive though I would like to get a SSD. I read I3's can be great for gaming its the graphics card that really makes the performance. I play most of the newest games BF4, COD, and some varying RPG's. I appreciate all input! =)

Get the Elite one. It has USB 3.0 in front. The PSU below is really good too. I've heard negative things about that NZXT. Last, EVGA Superclocked one is excellent. Better cooling too.

CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor ($99.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX...
i3's are all dual cores, or dual cores with HT (4 virtual cores)
I would recommend spending an extra 50$ on the cpu and getting at least an i5-4460. It's a true quad core which does a lot better in todays games like GTA 5,bf4.
I also agree with getting a gtx 960 or r9 280x. The 280x usually out benchmarks the gtx 960 a bit and is slightly cheaper.

I agree with andy_Man but it depends on how good of a GPU you can get. I also suggest getting 8GB RAM not 4gb.

If I bounced back to the i5 that brings my price up to just over $400, I was trying to stay under that and upgrade as able to in the future. I think getting the i5 is a good choice, I am not expecting the greatest results, just don't have all the fund-age to throw at it right now.

Awesome envy14type! I just ordered everything, went ahead and got the GPU now as well, and I got the i5 instead of the i3. Grand total was 577.85 so that isn't too bad!
