I'm trying to build a system for downloading torrents and internet surfing (10-20 tabs open at a time) and watching movies.

The downloading would be 24x7.

Please look at the configuration and suggest.

The 3500 is better for power considerations and still has the same graphics as 3650 for less.

On the mobos, two points. A55 chipsets are cheaper but lack SATA3/USB3, i dont know if these are concerns. I noticed on the ASRock comments, there's an issue with the BIOS setting that has it to discrete card to default. This makes changing it in BIOS impossible without a discrete card on hand. Dont know if there's a way around it.

Depending on where the system is going to be on display, id consider looking at some of these HTPC cases http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100008308+600043624&QksAutoSuggestion=&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Configurator=&IsNodeId=1&Subcategory=690&description=&hisInDesc=&Ntk=&CFG=&SpeTabStoreType=&AdvancedSearch=1&srchInDesc=

Most of them come with power supplies too.

If the PC is going to be hidden away and not seen, just grab the cheapest case you can find, and a cheap-ish PSU with good ratings (don't just buy cheap junk, check some reviews first).

The Corsair. Skip the others... Separate the case and PSU and stick with Antec, Corsair, XFX or Seasonic.

MB - ASRock A75M-HVS FM1 A75 - $70
CPU - AMD A8-3850 FM1 with HD 6550D - $135
CPU Cooler - Scythe SCSK-1100 Low Profile - $35
MEM - Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3-1600 CL9 - $22 after MIR
HD - Samsung F4 2TB - $180
OPTICAL - LG Black 12X BD-RW - $60
PSU - CORSAIR CX430 - $35 after MIR
CASE - Silverstone HTPC - $60

$590ish
