Alright guys, so a few days ago you helped me out with a more expensive build and I've ordered all the parts. Now, however, I seek advice because my friend wants his own PC but on a $1000 budget. One thing though, He will be playing at 1440x900 resolution so it shouldn't be as difficult as full HD. here it goes:

Approximate Purchase Date: Today if all checks out

Budget Range: $1000 max

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, light photoshop

Parts Not Required: windows 7, Keyboard, monitor, mouse etc.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg and Amazon

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: Nvidia/Intel

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Yes, but not right now

Monitor Resolution: 1440x900

Here's what I have so far:

Processor: i5 2500k
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

Mobo: Asrock z68 extreme 3 gen 3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157271

GPU: EVGA 560 Ti Superclocked
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130651

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (Will these fit on the mobo???)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144

PSU: PC power and cooling 750w (is this a good brand?)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703027

HDD: WD Caviar Black 1 TB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533

Case: Roswill THOR V2 (will everything fit in here well?)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147053

DVD burner

The total cost is $982.92

So my question is, will everything I picked fit together, is everything compatible?

Will this system be good enough to support an extra 560 ti down the line (sometime in February)?

And just what do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Thank you for your time, any advice is welcome.

all depends on what games you will be playing. Also, this rig is more for a system that is using a rez of 1080p. if you are sticking with that monitor you could get a system for a lot less that will do the job just fine. and why get the K processor if you are not going to overclock?

Well, his current resolution is 1440x900 but he plans on upgrading to a 1080 monitor in a few months as well as adding another 560 in sli when he upgrades.

For now though, he wants to play the latest PC games at 1440x900. So I think this will do more than fine. But, do you think all the parts are compatible?

Will that RAM fit into the ASrock motherboard and I think 750w should be enough for sli 560s.

Id save money by going with a HAF 922 case. I just saw them on Newegg for $89 which is $50 cheaper than when I bought mine in the spring...live and learn  The 922 is a great solid case. Has lots of fans with plenty of places to mount more. Mines maxxed and it moves alot of air silently. Also plenty of room inside and will take the longest video cards and still have a few inches of spare room without being cramed against the drive bay cage. Plenty of room for hiding the wires too.
