[SOLVED] Budget replacement CPU fan or whole cooler

So my cpu, i7-4770 non K, doesn't have cooling problems, the stock heatsink and fan work fine. I just want to add a blue fan. Can I just get any sub $20 fan and put it on my heatsink, or would it be better to just get a whole new CPU cooler? If I had the stock Intel cooler I would just get a new heatsink and fan, but mine has the stock Dell cooler which has a bigger heatsink, and is adequate for my purposes. I'm in Canada, so will shop at eBay or Amazon or wherever. I don't need my pc to puke rgb, I just want a subtle blue. There's only a 3 pin for the cpu fan on my motherboard.

Stock Intel combo I would replace no question

Looks like it'd be better to spend the money on just the fan, since it cools just fine as-is. What would be a good budget fan with blue leds? Don't want to buy a junk $5 fan from China.

I would replace the cooler, personally. While the cooler might be just fine temperature-wise currently, it's also a pretty small fan and thus, will generate more noise.

A quality fan, that would useful on a heatsink is going to cost you ~$10 minimum..... Whereas a Deepcool Gammaxx 400 is $30 on Amazon.

A relatively pricey cost (relative to a single fan), of course.... but you're looking at an 80-92mm fan to replace on the stock heatsink (I believe).... which are noisy. Easily $10, and if you wanted to jerryrig something with a 120mm fan, that just gets awkward (and more like $15).

Lower noise, better temperatures & the blue accent you're looking for.
Of course, you'll need to ensure you have the required 155mm height clearance in your case for it to fit...

I like that corsair one, but it's 120mm and I don't want to jerry rig it. The whole cooler looks good, thought about that same one before, but wasn't sure on the quality. My case is 175mm wide, so it should fit, assuming the motherboard + cpu aren't 20mm thick. I think it'd be worth saving up a little longer and getting that.
