i want to build a $220 to $230 decent htpc i would like amd config for suggestion as i have a low budget for intel pls i want a motherboard CPU and a pair of ram and if possible a cabinet
Typically.. I wouldn't recommend choosing a case with a power supply
in it already. If you really need to be cheap, then go for it. It's not
as reliable but it should run just fine but be cautious. Choose some of the
better known brands. I highly suggest using the Antec Basiq though. This should be under your budget range, I hope you have an OS already..
thanx
i did a bit research and got this
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition for around $130
Gskil F3-10666CL9D-4GBXL for $40
Asus M4N68T-M LE V2 Socket AM3 DDR3 for $60
or
AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition for $102
and try unlocking it
what do u guy say??????
i thought investing a another $25 to $30 on a quad will be future proof
and m getting a good genuine cabinet with the power supply for around $20
Actually, spending a little more on a AM3+ motherboard will be futureproof. You will be able to use the newer AM3+ Bulldozer CPU that's yet to be released. It is backward compatible with AM3 CPU. You can find RAMs for around $35.
