Hello everyone

I am looking to build a pc and i have chosen
Mobo : MSI X570 A PRO
CPU : AMD RYZEN 5 2400G
RAM : 1 x 8Gb kingston ddr4 2666mhz
Other parts not listed...

Would an EVGA G5 650W psu be ok as it doesn't have a 4 pin connector but this is on the mobo. It is used to supply additional power for overclocking etc. Would the CPU still overclock automatically?

I don't intend on getting a gpu yet as I'm not really doing gaming right now. I will also upgrade some parts and get more ram later

Solution
Okay so you have gone a little bit over. I would save some money and move to a B450 motherboard. Unless you will be upgrading to a Ryzen 3000 series CPU later, then stick to the X570 motherboard .As to the power supply that is a lot of power for what you need. Also try to go for DDR 4 3200 and at least 16gb in 2 x 5GB sticks as Ryzen will make use of it and it is now fairly cost effective.

Might need a BIOS update as I cannot find a Ryzen 2400G. Check box to see Ryzen 3000 ready!
