Your build is fairly awesome, and i'm sure you'll enjoy it, but one thing i'd probably want to change in that build of yours is the power supply.

I see it has an 80+ Bronze certification but i don't think I've seen much of that brand. Personally, i wouldn't bother hearing more about it. It might be because of my ignorance, but if you still haven't spent your money then i'd recommend checking out this thread:

Everything else pretty much looks fine and primed for gaming :D

Here's another forum talking about the 'Eurotech' series of power supplies:

Well, getting the 'newer' stuff may just end up exceeding his budget. Sure, it's marginally better, but i don't think it's that much worth it to do so, however, I don't know the exact costs in Portugal for the price hike from a 5th to 6th series upgrade. (Would include motherboard, CPU and RAM higher price costs)

A 4690 isn't the old either. It would do you fine for the most part. Additionally, the 6 series isn't exactly the 'latest', much newer stuff is arriving soon.

Here are a few benchmarks if you're curious about the differences:

RAM (DDR3 V DDR4)

His channel in general is fairly useful:

Not sure where you get these "lower" prices but IN USA at least older gen costs actually more than the newer stuff.

haven't checked much of the prices lately, but around August - September time of last year much of the retailers here in the UK actually sold 5th gen hardware at a noticeably cheaper price than 6th gen.

Logically, it wouldn't be wrong to assume this, but whatever, as stated above, he's not buying from the US where these 'newer' stuff are cheaper than the older gen. Ultimately it's his choice, whether choosing the newer gen over his current choices, or whether it will exceed his budget or not, the performance gain, or loss won't even matter or even be noticeable in most games.
