Hello guys, I'm going to build a PC in early 2017. you must be wondering why I'm posting this before 6 months, Well, this way I will keep track of the products and when they will be the most cheapest, I will buy them.

So I wanna build a gaming PC that I won't need to upgrade till 2019 or so. My budget is quite low, just 520$. Don't ask me to increase the budget, the maximum can be 550, not more than that.



 
6 months+ out from the build date is too early to provide a build.

There will be new products, new revisions etc by then. AMD will (hopefully) have released some Zen CPUs which should provide a budget alternative to Intel too, along with boards for those chips.

Some pointers though, consider what you need within the $550 budget. Do you need an OS? (likely ~$80 minimum). Monitor? Keyboard? Mouse?

You can get a respectable desktop for $500, but the OS, monitor, peripherals etc, if needed, will eat into a healthy chunk.

What is it you'll be using the rig for? Gaming? Editing? etc. If gaming, what games/type of games? and if you already have a monitor, what resolution?
 


Monitor, mouse, keyboard, OS, etc. I already have. I will be using it for high end gaming. I will be using my old TV (which exactly isn't old) as my monitor, the resolution is 1080p.
I have gtx 970 in my mind and I think the price will be reduced to the cost of a 960 by the time I start building it.
 
Pure speculation here, but excluding monitor, OS & peripherals, there's a good chance you could pick up an i3 + RX 480 in 6 months.

Good chance that build will be ~$550 in a few months, mostly through a reduction in the RX480.
Considering the competition from 1050's & 1060's though, I don't know if the RX480 will be the better card for the price in 6 months.

Again, it's impossible to know for sure.
 

Most of them aren't available, it will be helpful if you can switch to the pc part picker's Indian website and then post it.
