[citation][nom]bit_user[/nom]Stay away from blue lighting. It messes up your circadian rhythms. Blue light is how your brain knows that dawn is nearing. [/citation]
Where do you get that info, please?
(I actually am interested)

What a shame you did not use a decent camera to get some good shots of that awesome looking PC!

what is the final price?

I have a feeling it's close to brand new camaro.

i have my pc in my bedroom, all those lights would be hell...

when my 5.1 speaker base station lcd backlight burnt out, i was happy, granted i should have rmaed it, but no, i love that its dead... not its not on and distracting when i use the pc with the lights off.

my monitor, when its off, there are no leds on, any led on when the monitor is off is an instant no buy for me (outside of a cintiq)

all that said, that g13... is that a real analogue stick, or another one of those stupid 8 button d pads with a stick on top of it?

[citation][nom]ckholt83[/nom]The Mionix Naos 5000 also has fully customizable LED lighting.[/citation]
Darn. Beat me to it. BTW, the Naos 5000 is a sick mouse, love mine.

[citation][nom]Cleeve[/nom]Oh I believed you. I was calling YouTube's draconian policies ridiculous.[/citation]

they get so many claims that the system is all automated, basically unless you prove you didnt do it, you did it. apposed to a service like blip, where they respond to you in a more reasonable manor regarding copyright.

Looks good but the case is overpriced for its performance (both cooling and looks).
Thats a damn disco... I had that in my PC some time ago but it was way too distracting so i just made a ambient Led array.

Any clear acrylic cases out there besides the ones offered by Logisys? Though I wouldn't recommend having it in your bedroom at that point... might be a wee bit bright... It would look awesome with that ram and a V6 cooler, and maybe with some orange lights.

When I first glanced at the title of this article I thought it said...Build Your Own Customizable Illuminated Death Machine....I thought .....Cool.....

Oh man I think this is my next build. I always do lights anyway (hence my handle).

If you could suggest some alternates, I suspect some people would be interested in a Radeon choice. Also if there's a less pricey keyboard, maybe one that is all one piece. Personally I don't like to go to non-standard keyboard layouts because it confuses my touch typing for when I use the PC for non-gaming tasks.

But great article. Those memory lights are awesome and so is the lighting strip and the front panel controllers. As you say they are really the core of the lighting part of the build and they aren't that pricey.

What I want to know is when are you going to put this system up for a Giveaway Contest? I know your fans would be illuminated by such a gesture.

Not my thing, way too distracting imho. However nice build with a nice selection of hardware the kids will surely love. Good job.

The graphics card: choose whatever you like. Best Radeon deals right now are the 7850, 7870 LE (aka 7870 XT), and 7970.

There's a million keyboards out there with RGB lighting control, just pick what pleases your eye.

Thanks! :)
