Okay, my mom's computer is really old and slow (windows XP, and Sempron kinda deal). I really wanted to try to possibly put something together for her, but she doesn't have a $1,000 budget, more like $400-$500. The thing that's giving me the most trouble is that she really wants/NEEDS her photoshop, but I don't know if something that works for windows xp would work for windows 8 (What she wants). A list of parts with some helpful information would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)
