Guys I need your help in deciding what to buy...this is the build i have in mind
1. AMD FX 8350 processor
2. ASUS CROSSHAIR V Formula Motherboard
3. Corsair Vengence 4gb X 2
4. Corsair TX 650 V2
5. Segate 1TB internal
6. GPU R9 270 4GB
7. Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat

I will need your suggestions on this...GTX 760ti isnt available in my area..so should I change my GPU to gtx 760..or keep it at R9 270

Solution
What is your budget?
Where do you live?
Why do you want an AMD build?
The 270x is better than the 270, and the GTX760 is better than both, then the 280 is better than that and can be had for under $200 USD.
I don't recommend using these FXs because they are old and outdated, but if you do, get the FX8320 instead of the FX8350.
Corsair Vengence RAM is good, but you should get whichever big name RAM is on sale at the time. Don't limit yourself. Same thing with the psu. That is a fine psu, but there may be a better option when the time comes for you to buy.

Well atleast AMD doesnt go on changing so fast rather than Intel..:)

Umm...... that's not a good thing. The current AMDs are 2 years old, and performance wise, AMD is right about where they were 4 years ago. Intel improves a little every year. That's why I can't recommend any of the FXs anymore. AMD needs new material in a hurry.

I don't know about that... My Phenom x6 1055t was a lot better than the equally priced i5s back then. I feel like AMD has given up now. Bulldozer was bold move but ultimately a failure. Piledriver made all the best improvements that could be made, but there's nothing there of value. Now. They need to start from scratch and concentrate on efficiency.

blood_demon, logainofhades i5 build up top is WAY better than any of the AMD builds on this page. It's considerably more future proof too.

I agree i5 build is good but the socket type of AMD doesnt change fast so I will be able to upgrade to a better processor after 2years with the same motherboard..
so that way its much beneficial..and getting a motherboard like formula V at a very cheap price I cant resist AMD..
I dont know about the price but its around 100$ cheaper than the original market price so I am quite happy..and product is 100% genuine..may be they giving it off at a reduced price due to increased stocks..
well whatever the price both are coming to its really cheap for me and I can invest the extra money and go for some other accessories...
when steamroller will be coming out it will be a good boost to AMD and after the money they get from intel

they are sure to use it in R&D

yup...Intel always have tried to control everything..and thats why many small small manufacturers all faded away..
they use money earned from their sales to do such work..and thats why their prices are always so high..
AMD started their battle and was reaching close to them when they used such dirty tricks to go above them and leave them far behind..

AM3+ is dead. AMD is not releasing any new chips for it. You are no better off with upgrade options than I am on 1155. What is available now is all you will be able to get. We have 1150 for at least another year and half or so, as Broadwell will be 1150. You just need an H97/z97 chipset for it.

May be you are right...but I have already ordered the 8350 and formula V...so cant change...
anyways atleast if I can run for 2 3 years it will be ok....and that much I am sure I will be able to do...

True but still its kinda Bad for AMD right now... AM3+ being really really dead is not good...AMD is basically still where they were at 4-5 years ago haha. They should do something Bold/innovative like Steamroller for AM3+ haha. That's not gonna happen though. Bulldozer is still tough in its own right but like others said it is still just lacking and behind and ultimately a failure as far doing anything with it.

you never know what may come up in the future...
and its not really lacking behind if you compare the price and performance its really not bad...

Intel are better right now we all know that but amd cpu are not bad the 83xx cpu should't bottleneck any gpu unless for muti sli 780ti. Im pretty sure am3+ is dead but considering ddr4 ram are coming out in 2015 there is a chance amd will update the socket and start producing ddr4 motherboard but this is only speculation. Only reason 3 reason to go amd it either
A. You hate intel businesses practice like me and want to support amd.
B. Your building a low end build with the x4 750k or FX 6300.
C. The amd cpu are cheap enough to allow you to buy a better gpu.
Seen the FX 8320 go on sale for $130 before really good deal.

Well you can include both reason A and C...so I am going with AMD and my processor and motherboard also arrived..
ddr 4 ram will have too much premium at start and we have ddr 3 ram at the starting speed of ddr4 now also but very few people go and purchase it...
we dont purchase as we dont really need such high ram..
