Hello,

I am putting together a PC (usage will be mostly for gaming and some small scale video editing).

I have a video card, memory and am looking at getting the Phenom 2 x4 965 processor. I need help on selecting the right motherboard and PSU.

Case: NZXT M59
CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 965 BE
Video Card: HIS Radeon 6850 1GB
Memory: Corsair XMS3 4gb x2

Any suggestions are appreciated.

AM3+ motherboard options:
Gigabyte (single GPU) => http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128490
ASUS (single GPU) => http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131734
ASROCK (dual GPU) => http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262

PSU - If you are planning on running dual GPUs 750w would be enough power. 850w would be "safe". For a single HD 6850 a 550w or 650w would be the choice. Stick with Antec, Seasonic, XFX or Corsair...

CPU - The X4 955 can be had for a little cheaper and will overclock the EXACT same. It is a good option to buy the 955 and manually change the multiplier in the BIOS to the 965 / 970 / 975 / 980 settings.
