[SOLVED] Building a simple SOHO network

Hi,
Looking for some component advice for a simple SOHO wired network.
there are some POE cameras and around 30+ wired devices.
I was looking at the Ubiquiti products that seem to be advertised everywhere but I don’t want to leave any additional devices switched on. I also value my time so don’t want a network that needs to be managed or any involved set up. To that end was thinking two unmanaged POE switches.
Which are the best value/ available?

Netgear has some decent addressable and non-addressable switches. You get what you pay for, of course. Whatever switch(s) you get, make sure they meet your needs.

I think you're on the right track with an unmanaged setup. I would however use a separate poe and non-poe switch to segment the network and use port-based vlans on your router to segment/limit the poe traffic if it is not going into an nvr. If all the cameras just go into the nvr, then a flat network will work fine.
