[SOLVED] Building new Rig compatability question

my pc died and although i can repair it the pc is 8 years old so im buying and building a new one in the current market of GPU issues is a pain so i have an idea of building my new rig while running my old R9 290X while the GPU issue runs on until the 3080 or 3090 becomes avail at a more respectable price the rig i wanna build is.

AMD Rysen 9 5950x 16-Core 3.4GHz_t
RTX 3080/3090 (will decide when a decent price becomes avail)
ASUS ROG x570 Crosshair VIII Hero (WIFI)
T-Force Xtreem ARGB 32GB DDR4 4000MHz
Seagate Firecuda 530 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD
Seagate Firecuda 530 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
NZXT Kraken X63
NZXT C750 Gold
NZXT H710 Black

My question was that will be R9 290X be compatable and allow me to use it once this rig is built while waiting on GPU shortage and pricing to sort itself out?

as long as it's a PCIe card it will have no issue.
i doubt they were even still producing AGP variants at the time so you should be good to go.

until the 3080 or 3090 becomes avail at a more respectable price

try signing up for the Newegg Shuffle.
i've landed a couple cards over the last 6 months or so for MSRP.
just takes a while to find good options that aren't bundled with other garbage hardware.

even my friend used his old NVS 310 for display rn
