my i5-2500k rig went dead few months back and i'm midway building a 2400g rig as below (reusing some parts)

- ryzen 2400g (not purchased yet)
- asrock ab350 pro 4 (not purchased yet)
- 16gb (8gb x 2) kit ddr4 samsung b-die (purchased)
- Micron M550 m.2 256GB SSD (reuse)
- Asus Xonar DGX sound card (reuse)
- WD 4TB hard disk (reuse)
- Benq 21.5" LED monitor (reuse)
- cooler master 690 chassis (reuse)
- 525E 5.25" Dashboard Media Front Panel (reuse)
- Acbel r9 1100w power supply (reuse)
- Realtek RTL8811AU 802.11ac USB wifi (reuse)
- DVD+/-RW drive (reuse)

Is the Asrock ab350 pro 4 a good choice ?, X370 motherboards are too expensive for me. And am not sure when the B450 motherboards will be available (end of march? / end of April ?)

hope to complete build once 2400g is available in my country (APAC region)

> The Ryzen 2400G is not yet released and therefore no B350 motherboard has a BIOS that is compatible with it; wait for 400 series board is recommended.

> In the event 400 series board cost too much, check the Support page of the B350 for BIOS that support the CPU, then go to local shop and ask them to update the BIOS for you before bringing it home.

> If the final choice is still the AB350 Pro4, do check the manual for the specifics of its SATA ports (the 4 from chipset vs 2 from the additional ASMEDIA controller) to avoid long booting time (and for now, avoid plugging in your SSD/HDD into the SATA3_3 port for future expansion flexibility between the 2nd M.2 and this port).
> Avoid plugging the Xonar DGX into the long PCIE4 slot to avoid potential future resource conflict with the 1st M.2 slot.
> Of the four 4-pin fan header on the AB350 Pro4, the CPU_FAN and CHA_FAN1 will only control fan speed for 4-pin PWM fan, 3-pin DC fan will run at full speed when plugged into these headers. CHA_FAN2 and 3 will auto detect fan type for working with their speed control.
