Hi.

I'm trying to build my new PC but I'm struggling a bit. I was very good at it 10 years ago but now I'm a busy man and don't have much spare time.

SABERTOOTH 990FX/GEN3 R2.0 or budget max 130
AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core or AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 or budget max 110
OS Windows ???
Graphic card is big mystery as well, budget max 100

Is a PCIex 3.0 needed?

I don't know is that maindboard is a good choice. I read few forums about it but some say OK and some overpriced.
I know that a good mainboard is base but not sure about SABERTOOTH.
Need an advice on that or may be a different idea.
Is there any replacement which will do as good as asus.
Go a problem as well with OS any suggestions.

???

That's a great motherboard. DEFINITELY do not get the 4100, the 6300 is a fine CPU. Why is your GPU budget so high? With a combined CPU/Motherboard/GPU budget of $1,040, I would go Intel and something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($227.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card ($659.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1007.97

Would give you a better CPU in general, and the best single-GPU graphics card out there. That motherboard is also able to support a second 780 Ti in SLI in the future if you wanted.

Windows 8.1 has a bit better gaming performance compared to 7, so that would be my suggestion, unless you absolutely hate Windows 8.

I like the build that you suggested but personally, I don't think there is HUGE gap between the 780 and the 780 ti. I wouldn't say an extra £100 is worth such little extra performance.

Well for that budget, then, I would definitely go for a 970 board and put the extra money into the GPU. This would be a much better gaming setup than a $100 GPU can get you:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($107.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($65.66 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R7 265 2GB Video Card ($167.27 @ TigerDirect)
Total: $340.92

That is nice one setup. I always use ASUS mainboards but it may be a good idea to try something else.

What about OS? windows 8.1 will do the job? I need something stable to work on.

Agreed. The 265 is a head....Just giving another option.

OP, if your worried about power consumption and heat, then go with the GTX750Ti. If not, the 265 is a great card at stock speed.

Also, the GTX750ti does not need a psu cable to power it. I noticed you didn't mention the PSU in your build.

PSU will go last so I can chose just right. Don't want to over paid or not power full enough.

I was looking for motherboard that will support pci ex 3.0 and AMD 3+. Do You know any?

With a budget of 130 quid, I would recommend an R9 270: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9270gaming2g

Will get you High/Ultra at 1080p, and is a great card for the money. Gaming performance difference is negligible between PCIe 2.0 and 3.0. Check out HardOCP's comparison. The only material difference is the max frame rate, but the average and minimums (which are the ones that need consideration) are within margin of error for the most part:

Thanks a lot. That is very nice GPU.
You are right about that PCIe 3.0. Not much difference between 2.0 and 3.0.
Do You think that:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Vide card: MSI R9 270 GAMING 2G
work as a good setup?

I would like to say BIG THANK YOU for helping me.

My new pc:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 ATX AM3+
Video card: MSI R9 270 GAMING 2G

Thanks for help. It is working perfectly:)

Late I know but I have been away travelling.

Glad to hear you are happy with your build/rig. Its all about needs, wants and budget and you did good on those.

Enjoy.
