I built my new computer 2 days ago. It worked the day I built it, turned on three different times, and then I turned it back off, and moved it into another room. I didn't turn it on or touch it for two days, as I was looking for an operating system. When I finally got one, I came home, plugged it in, and it didn't turn on. What could've happened in two days to cause it to not even turn on?

Two days ago, when I turned it on, a white/purple LED turned on to illuminate the window, the CPU, GPU, and built in fan were all spinning. Now it won't turn on.

there's a little switch on the back, even if the psu is plugged into the wall it won't deliver power unless that switch is turned on, also make sure the 24pin mobo connector and the 8 pin cpu connector are seated properly. If they aren't plugged in all the way the pc wont post.

also, there is a small led on most mobos that turns on when the motherboard is receiving power, look up if your mobo has one and see if it is on or not.

I think he is not dumb not to switch the PSU back on.

As about the 24pin and 8pin (4pin), those could come loose after carrying the PC around.

Also, make sure your front panel power button is connected to the mobo.

To test for PSU failure, one can do the paper clip test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixcWCrYpw3Y
