I built this computer 3 years ago with a 3570k, 550ti, and 8 gigs of ram with stock heat sink and everything like that.
I've slowly been upgrading it ever since and i ended up getting a 780ti and liquid cooled the cpu and gpu a few months back.
I decided to buy a second 780ti so i could overkill a bit more, so i bought the 780ti and a new power supply (EVGA 1200p2) and hooked it all up like you normally would, but unfortunately it didnt turn on.
So i took out the power supply and 2nd 780ti and put the old one back in. But it still didn't turn on. When i hit the power button the fans spin for about a second and immediately turn off.
Nothing comes up on screen like it says when the cpu fan isn't plugged in. And the debug numbers on the mother board don't even turn on. I've been up all night and i've hit a brick wall.
http://imgur.com/a/5wE6X The first image is the issue with the power supply, its just a bad cable for the cpu. And the other 2 are plugs for the fractal define r4's fan controller that i can't find a home for.
I know all my trouble is caused by something unbelievably simple that is just slipping by me, but i can't find it.
And i would gladly do a video chat if someone wanted to see the computer and everything for troubleshooting.
Specs: Fractal Define R4 Case Liquid cooled 3570k and Zotac AMP! 780ti 16 Gigs of Kingston Hyper X Ram Gigabyte z77x UD3H motherboard CM 850 Power Supply (Old) EVGA 1200P2 (New)
