My current build is bottle neck:

Ryzen 3 1200
Asrock AB350m Pro4
Adata 2x8gb 2400
Zotac Gtx 1080 mini
2tb Wd Blue ,2tb seagate Firecuda
Seasonic Focus+ 550

I want to upgrade my CPU but i am stuck to choose from Ryzen 7 1700 ( $148) vs Ryzen 5 3600 ($203)
but if i picked Ryzen 3600 i will but required to buy Asrock B450M Steel Legend (AM4) B450 ($104) so it will be a total of $307

I think before the Promo ends i would only save for $236 and i havent tried updating Mobo firmware ( currently im at 4.50)
In addition i had my eyes on 16gb ddr4 3200 Patriot Viper Steel CL16 1.35v ($73)
16gb (dual) ddr4 3400
Patriot Viper Steel, CL16 1.35v ($80) ,
16gb (dual) ddr4 3600
Patriot Viper Steel, CL17 1.35v ($81)
500gb Lexar NM610 SSD M.2 NVME, R|W: 1600|2100 188k|156k ($60.6)

Does it work

I would recommend you purchase the 3600 as it is far superior, however instead of buying a new motherboard, just flash your bios (this is a link to 6.0 version for your motherboard) while you have the 1200 installed, then swap out the 1200 for 3600.

A BIOS flash isnt hard, just format a USB, put the files from the zip on the usb, then from the bios select Q-FLASH or whatever the motherboard offers, the only thing you need to worry for is that it happens uninterrupted, DO NOT turn the computer off while it is flashing
