Hi. I am searching for a used system and saw an x58 system that I liked but the mobo had the upper 2nd and 3rd left pins burnton it. It's a p6ts w7 supercomputer if this helps. Do these pins make a difference and if so what do they do. Should I get the price down and buy it or would something not work?

I'd add one thing: if it's too late and you couldn't pass it up DO NOT connect a good PSU to it! That's a good way to blow up a PSU...and CPU too.

Do NOT buy something with preburnt pins/components.

Unless you KNOW what happened and how to fix it, steer clear.

And...x58?
Why? This is a decade old platform.
OK got it. I have seen benchmarks that show that x5675 are great and even better when overclocked. Anyways thank u.
