good evening guys,
im thinking about getting the rtx 2080 ti for a while.
And after the Black Friday didn’t brought me any good deals, and the cyber Monday probably also won’t give me any good opportunities, I’m here to ask you guys.
I really like the trio version of it, but the price is a little bit too high, in matter of the fact that I need a new case for it aswell.
I won’t do any overclocking, I just want a good card, which won’t cause me any problems.

so what you guys think would be a good case and which card should I get?

Solution
If you are not going to OC, then the cheapest 3 fan 2080Ti you can find is the way to go.

The performance difference between GPUs of the same name (i.e 2070 super with another 2070 super, or 2080 with another 2080) are minimal. The cooling solution, the aesthetics and power delivery is other things that do differ but since you will just plug and play, choose the cheapest 3 fan 2080Ti that you like (aesthetically).

So that’s why i thought about it, but I also red a reddit threat, and heard about the high sound of some cards, or also about cards which died real quick... I’m just afraid of spending 1k+ and regret it right after I run into issues...
And I still need a good case for it..🥺

Well, probably there won’t be any good deals tomorrow or what you think?
And which could would be ur personal favorite?

Is a regular „midi tower“ big enough for that kind of card?🤔

The size of the tower does not matter as much as the GPU clearance that each case has. If you go to the manufacturer's site of the case you have chosen, it will say under specifications: GPU MAX LENGTH or GPU clearance or something along the lines of that. So, when you choose a card, see the length and then find a suitable case with preferably a bit more than that amount.

There should be some good deals tomorrow but I am not holding my breath for a 2080Ti deal.

As for my personal favorite, if you mean for a case, I like a lot the Lian-Li and NZXT cases. From Lian Li the new Lancool II and from NZXT the H510i. Not the best out there, but again it's personal preference.
