[SOLVED] Buying a PC in 2020 (500-800E)

My friend wants to buy a PC from 0. I'm curious as to what parts I should be looking out for (mostly CPU's and GPU's, for the rest of the parts I generally know what to look for) as I'm not 100% up to date with what new cpus and gpus have been released since 3 years ago when I built my pc. So basically, TL:DR:

  • what GPU to search for;
  • what CPU to search for;

*(including second hand parts, considering we want to build the best PC for around 500-800E, and we can take into consideration SH gpus and cpus).

Solution
You might want to add a HDD later on, it will fill up pretty fast that 500GB SSD. Other than that, I did a tweak to the Djoza suggestion:

From the tests I've seen, the 5700 is very similar to the RTX 2060. Some games favor one or the other. Not sure if it's worth the difference.

Also, is the Ryzen 1600 enough or should we look to go a bit better?
